The door header is the portion above the door leaf, if any. When there is no header and the door opening height is to be the same height as the panel line, the door is called a "maximum height door".
The slam bar can be either part of the door leaf or the door frame, depending on the swing of the door. The slam bar prevents the lock from being picked as well as preventing the leaf from over-swinging beyond its closed position.
